After a powerful run building one of the city’s most respected jazz traditions, Clarence Ward III returns to Monday nights.

On March 16th, the legendary Monday Jazz Session finds a new home at Motor House from 7PM–10PM — and the mission continues.

When Clarence first launched his Monday night jazz sessions in 2015, he transformed the start of the week into a cultural staple for the city. What began as a session quickly became a movement — a gathering place for seasoned masters, rising stars, and true lovers of the music. Monday became synonymous with live jazz in Baltimore.

Now, the legacy continues.

This isn’t just a gig — it’s a platform. A space built to shine a light on our scene, nurture the next generation, and celebrate the living tradition of jazz. Expect high-level musicianship, spontaneous collaborations, and the kind of energy that only happens when the community comes together.
